This project involves the tending of young forest stands up to 20 years of age across a total area of 3.0 ha. The aim of the project is to promote the development of target tree species, remove low-value or invasive tree and shrub species, and regulate stand density in order to improve forest vitality while preserving existing ecosystems and taking biodiversity into account.

The project also contributes to the preservation of ecologically and economically valuable stand species that play an important role in mitigating the negative effects of climate change. The funded measure provides an excellent opportunity to improve forest condition, as many stands would otherwise be left to develop naturally without proper management.

Through this project, the surrounding environment will be enhanced and the image of well-managed forests bordering local roads will be strengthened. In addition, stand productivity and resistance to adverse environmental factors will be improved, the beneficial functions of the forest will be reinforced, and timber that would otherwise naturally decline and decay in the forest will be used in a timely manner.
