AB „Medieva“ is implementing the project „Implementation of Modern Production Technologies at UAB „Medieva“. The goal of the project is to promote growth and ensure the production of higher-quality products by implementing modern technologies.

During the project implementation, an automatic sorting and packaging line for pallet boards is planned to be installed.

With the acquisition of new equipment, the sorting and packaging of pallet boards will be carried out automatically with the help of a 3D scanner, according to pre-established quality criteria. The technological process will be controlled using a programmable logic controller (PLC).

The equipment implemented during the project will reduce the need for manual labor in the wood product manufacturing process and help the company address the issue of labor shortages. The new equipment will continue the company’s efforts to modernize the production process and contribute to increasing process efficiency.

Upon completion of the project, conditions will be created for increased company productivity, reduced production costs, increased turnover, and corresponding improvements in competitiveness.

The planned duration of the project implementation is 20 months.

The project value is 230,000.00 EUR. The project is partially financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the measure “Regio Potential LT” of the 2014–2020 EU Investment Operational Programme, Priority 3 “Promotion of Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises,” measure No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-850.
